At Oldenburger, we continuously search for ways of reducing the impact that our operations have on the environment. Yearly business sustainability assessments with ECOVADIS help us to monitor our performance and improve our ecological footprint.

Materials
Lacquer
We only use water-based lacquer and glue.
Electricity
We source LED lights and transformers with low energy consumption rates and RoHS certification.
Wood
We use panels, veneers and solid wood from responsibly managed forests in accordance with the rules of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and in compliance with the European Union Timber Regulation (EUTR).
Filtration
We operate particle filters at our factory reduce VOC emissions.
Packaging
We use paper-based packaging solutions.
Plastic
We do not use PVC in our products.
We use polycarbonate with recycled content.
Leather
We purchase sustainable leather from certified sources.

We invest in our buildings, incl. lighting, heating, and insulation, that have resulted in reduced energy consumption of our operations.

Ethical Sourcing
We only work with suppliers that meet our standards for fair employment and labor ethics. Our suppliers provide fair wages, safe working conditions and respect the rights of their employees.
Conscious Design
We aim to create
designs that are timeless and can be used for years to come. Our engineering
team is reducing material usage in our furniture from the start of the process.
We believe that quality and durability are key to reducing the environmental
