How to Replace Buttons on Cushions

Preparation

  1. Use a thick, sturdy needle and a strong thread.
  2. pull the thread through the needle and tie it into a closed loop.
  3. Pull another thread through the hole of the button.

Attaching the Button

  1. Stick the needle through the fabric at the spot where the button used to be, ensuring it aligns with the hole in the back panel of the cushion.
  2. Make sure not to pull the needle through completely. Leave the looped thread sticking out.
  3. Pull the thread of the button through the loop and then pull the needle through completely, bringing the button thread to the back side of the cushion.
  4. On the back panel of the cushion, use a small screw to anchor the button thread.
  5. Wrap the thread tightly around the screw and ensure the button is firmly secured
